I can, in a moment... I'm putting a new exhaust manifold on my wife's Ford Ranger. But that shouldn't take very long.

Loud Mouse,

What you are describing is NOT what is happening.

Position 1) all lights ON, key will come out.

Position 3) all lights OFF, key will NOT come out.

In other words, power OFF, key is stuck in switch. Power ON, key can be removed.

I've used the search button and can't seem to find an answer. But my best guess is that it's the same harness, since both coils run off the same wire. And the two wires coming from the points are not part of the harness. But that's just a guess. An I missing something?
