I don't believe it screws in, because when I first took one apart it feel on the floor and I said "Darn where does that go".It should just sit down in.

There is a special screw with a sort of point which threads into the aluminum cover and holds the Throttle Grip Adjuster in place. The screw has a nut to hold it in place. I actually leave the part out because it has no real use as you ride the bike other than if you adjust pressure to the grip end the throttle won't Go To Idle if you let the grip loose. I'm not aware that it has anything to do with Cable Slack. ...........lm

I got the throttle reassembled last night, including the screw that holds the adjuster. I addressed a problem with spark on the right cylinder, and took it out for a short ride. It ran much better.

Thanks for all ya'lls help.
Scott
