Well, today was the real test. My Superhawk was testing out at 9 for carbon monoxide, and the limit here in Costa Rica is 4.5 (not sure if this means percent. I think so). I dropped one more number on the main jet (I'm now down to 125 - or maybe it's 120, can't remember now) and put in the Keyster needles that come with the kit. The ole cb77 dropped to 1.5! From 9 to 1.5. Starts perfectly, doesn't foul the plugs, pulls better up through the entire range, and low emissions.
I was almost ready to pull the motor apart and put new rings in and do the valves, but the compression was still good, so I was hesitating. Now I have rings for later!
Hope this helps anyone else out there who rides in higher altitude.

GG Spar plug color - high altitudeHi Brewsky,
I've checked my plugs several times, and they are still a bit black - brownish black. So maybe our 1.5 is some other sort of measurement. ?? All I'm concerned about is that it passes the lousy inspection so they'll give me my papers! Thanks anyway for the heads-up! GG
