Needle jet

Post by Eljeef » Thu Apr 21, 2011 5:14 pm

On the pw22 there is a small needle jet that goes into the carb before the needle jet holder. It is number 7 on the schematic in the Bill Silver's diagrams. One end of it is slightly closed and the other end is wide open. Can someone tell me the orientation of this needle jet as it goes into the carb body? Slightly closed end first of wide open end first? Thanks, Jeff.

Wide open end goes in first so its pointed up when carb is in use.

Thank you Fred. This is what happens when you take something apart thinking "I'll have no problem putting this back together in the next day or two. I don't need pictures!" Then three or four weeks go by... ;) P.S. I love the irony of the "Advisor" title under my name. lol
