It's the edge around the top of the bowl and the bottom of the carb.
Square bowl is actually rectangle and the oval has sort of rounded ends. ..........lm

Mine looks like it has a round float bowl bottom and the one on ebay looks more oval. Is that just my bad eyesight or is that another difference between carbs?

Just a follow up....I put the brass tube in with locktite, let it sit overnight and put the carb back on last night. It wasn't easy! Having that tube sticking out from the carb made it difficult to get it back on the bolts. It kept hitting against the frame of the bike. I eventually got it on, but it's making me wonder if the carb with the banjo would be even harder to install or easier to install if that banjo unscrews. After I fix a little starter button issue, I'll fire her up!

I have the straight screw-in fitting, and if you do not remove it first, it is definately harder to remove/replace the carb.

Can be done, just takes a few more cuss words.

With the banjo, it could be removed first, so there are no issues.

Good to know! I wasn't sure how that banjo went in or if it could be taken off. Thanks!
