I'd suggest contacting LoudMouse and see if he would rebuild your carbs. He check the needles and needle jets and everything else to make sure it's all fine.
I could do it if Ed isn't available, but I'd start with him.
mid throttle cutting out
D13 is the #, or size of the "jet needle". The "needle jet" is pressed into the carb body, under the main jet holder. Put the stock jet needles back in, clips in second groove from the bottom, and see if it gets better. The 135 mains may be all you need, but that can be determined after you have proper needles.cl77blackcafe wrote:D13 is the size of needle jets w 140 main jets...its running straght pipes, was just wondering if they disagree w each other...any experts out there know...ive had this bike for a year and its been all work so i am new at the honda twins and need any help i can get...was running good up until 40 mph when i try to accellerate from there it cuts out ,also with heavy acceleration thru the gears

cutting out at mid throttle
So, could this trouble be simply fuel delivery from the tank to the carbs? I don't think I read in any post suggesting this. Just my 2cents.
