lean or rich?

Post by kenkah » Wed Apr 25, 2012 8:05 pm

I dont know if I'm running to lean or to rich but I do have alot of white exhaust coming out of the mufflers. Seems to be more on one side then the other. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I'm thinking that I need to take another look at the Idle screw and air scre on the carb.

If the smoke persists after its warmed up, then it's probably oil burning. Too rich makes black smoke. Make sure you don't have too much oil in it. May be time for a refresh on the top end.

How long should I let it really warm up? She starts up real good but I haven't really had it running for all that long. I would say less than 10 minutes in all.

Shouldn't be smoking at all after 10 minutes. How does it run? Have you ridden it?
