Carb question on motor swap?

Post by renoman » Sun Apr 14, 2013 9:57 pm

I have a 1968 CL77, it has a CB77 motor in it. It also has CL77 carbs. Which carb kit do I use? One for CL77 or for the CB77? The CB77 has a larger pilot jet and it also has a longer needle. It also has a larger main jet.

CB77. I use as much of the origional brass as I can. The keyster parts can have issues.

Back about 1995 I started installing the Keyster CB77 kits in both CB and CL77 carbs.
Never a problem with that kit and the engines ran super and very easy to tune. .........lm
