Thanks,

Gordon, The only advice I've heard on that subject is to avoid oil with the words "Energy Conserving" on the API label in the US, as these contain friction modifying compounds that can cause slippage. In your country however, I am not sure how or if this information is disclosed on the label. Which oil to use has been a heavily discussed topic here in the past, so I would recommend trying the search feature and see if anyone has tried the variety in question. You may also try to contact the oil manufacturer and ask what they advise. I have seen semi-synthetic oil which declared on the label it was safe for wet clutches, but that may not hold true for all brands. Best regards,
Doug

I use a 10/40 Semi Synthatic oil made for motor cycles and have never had any problems with clutch slip or any other problems so much is said about oils why not just use a oil that is made for a motorcycle, what ever you use has to be better than any oil made back in the early 60's. Just change it regular and KEEP it up to the dip stick mark there's not a lot of oil in a early Honda engines.

Here what i use
