Hey guys and gals,
I got my new battery charged up and ready to go but it seems that my new to me CA77 is still a bit stubborn to start. It takes a while to kick her into running and once I shut off the choke, her idle gets really low and she eventually quits.
I picked up the bike last week from Danville KY which is about 900 feet higher in elevation than Virginia Beach, where I am now.
She seemed to start and run just fine when we started her up while in KY so I am wondering if the 900 foot change in elevation requires me to adjust the carb for a richer mix (?).
At the moment, she is missing a baffle in one of the OEM mufflers.
So, should I wait for the baffle to come in before I mess around with the carb or do you guys and gals think I should just go ahead and do it and just hope for the best?
P.S. I am a bit nervous as I have no clue what I am doing.
Thanks!
