Just measure the number of threads over a 10mm length and divide by 10.... :-)

You haven't said what tap size, but going on previous post here is an M16x1 which is probably the finest standard tap you will find, M16 is usually 1.5 or 2 pitch.

So sorry guys I mean a Petcock us old boys here in the UK call the fuel tank valve (or tap or petcock or valve) a tap, we would not have this confusion if only you guys over the pond talked in English (only joking).

What im after is a new or good used petcock body part No 16951-265-010 or a complete one part No 16950-268-000 for my 1964 CB77

I have had no luck in getting one of the above so im looking at using a petcock from another Honda model or bike.

The outlet on the my fuel tank is 16mm, so can any one point me in the direction of were I may get a petcock to fit my 1964 CB77.

THANKS FOR REPLYING TO MY POSTING.

Ohio Cycle has new ones, it seems. He does not deal with foreigners like us so you need to ask one of our American friends if they will help out.

Go here

http://www.ohiocycle.com/catalog2.html

and search for 16951-268-010

Thanks G-Man but at 75.00 Dollars (£45.37) for just the body then there is the fraight im not tight but I think I will just have to sit on my pension book for this one.

In my searches I have come up with the following and I could use a Y adapter to feed both carbs I do not think they would look out of place on the bike and they all have right hand side exits but not sure what to choose they are all in my price range -
