I'm sorry Davo, I misspoke. The bike doesn't really pop or backfire, it just cuts out like a loss of spark or possibly a misfire.

I'm gonna change the points on the left side cause the timing is sporadic. It jumps around when I use a timing light and sparks a bit at the points which to me is a sign of a bad condenser. Only problem is (like i stated in the other thread) that these points came from a running bike that I built myself last year and it seems to run fine. Granted it was stock pistons and this engine has the kenig ones. I've been trying to find information on spark failure at high compression with little luck.

I'll try the points and condenser swap and let you guys know if that was indeed the issue instead of jetting...
