Stock Keihin carbs vs. aftermarket

Post by GG » Mon Jul 29, 2013 10:35 pm

Hello fellas,

I don't know about you all, but I'm as happy as can be with the original Keihin's. I've had several motorcycles, and the simplest and most reliable carbs of all are the old Keihin's! And Honda supposedly got 30 hp. out of a very "normal" motorcycle engine with those carbs ("normal" compared to modern engines).

There are still jets available for the Keihin carbs, and you can still get carb kits. There are so few moving parts in them, I don't know why anyone would want to change. !! Just my two bits...
