Leave the screen in the valve and put inline folters. ..........lm

I was stumped. Finally it dawned on me that maybe the mesh filters in the petcock and banjo bolts were creating just enough resistance to prevent the last cupful of gas in the tank from reaching the carb bowls...refilling the gas tank solved the problem. So I learned never to run the tank too low. Your suggestion to remove the banjo bolt mesh might just solve that problem...Thanks. Jesse

PS--do you recommend an inline filter instead? Or just leave it to the petcock screen to be the only filter in the line? I have some untreated tank rust and not sure the screen is adequate.
