1965 S65 single carburator question

Post by slarsonroy » Tue Jul 14, 2009 8:07 pm

I realize this isnt the small Honda singles forum, but I cant seem to find a better place to post this question. I have a 1965 Honda S65 running motorcycle. Ive got a few workshop manuals that cover this little jewel but none of them tell me what the purpose of the 2 oil lines are that run to/from the carb. Can someone tell me? Thanks! Scott

S65 oil lines

Scott; hot engine oil is supposed to heat up the carb to prevent carb icing (common on engines with very long intake manifolds). S65, C/CA110, some C/CA200,some C100 have these tubes.
