Hello,
New to the forum and trying desperately to find a right carburetor (or set if need be) for my bike. Everything seems to be fine after a tune up, except for this carburetor issue. Could anyone advise where I might find one. Appreciate your help!

1966 Honda Superhawk CB77 - Need right carburetor
Hi Nancy
They usually come up on eBay from time to time - see the attached link.

Make sure you get something that's better than th eone you have. Yours may just need a good clean or replacement jets. A keyster carb rebuild kit is a possibility althoughthey often bring their own troubles.
Regards and good luck!

Right Carburetor - 1966 Honda Superhawk CB77
Thanks G! Actually saw those carburetors on ebay and had sent an email to the seller last night to see if they were compatible for my bike. You think they would be? In the meantime, I spoke with my bike mechanic today and he believes he's found a guy in Michigan that can have a look at them (will ship to him) and see if they can be rebuilt...fingers crossed if so that it won't be an arm and a leg!

...carbs
Hi G,
Well...no price was advised at this point. It was my understanding once he receives, he'll look them over and advise the cost to rebuild, or if it's even possible. Will send back to me once done, and fitted - and if they work, then I pay. My mechanic is coming by tomorrow to take them off the bike so I'll ask who "he" is. :-) Hopefully you'll know of him and he has a good rep. But worst case scenario on rebuilding carbs, what would you charge to do?

Nancy, welcome! Follow Ed's (lm's) advice! I do my own as I know my way around them quite well, but nobody on this mortal coil knows more about these bikes (especially carbs) like Him.

Seriously, though, you'd need to be mad to entrust your carbs to anyone other than Ed Moore, perhaps the only exception being Bill Silver.
