Does anyone have an opinion about this type of air filter?

I have a Honda CA77 and my air hose from the filter to the carb has about had it.

I bought two of these for a cafe' CB77 I amworking on, and the are too large for the carbs. The carb throat where thet attach is 35mm on a CB77, yoyu will have to measure yours and find a correct sized one to fit. Try K$N, they make the same style filter with a 32mm ID, that should work for your CA, and will be much higher quality!

The bad thing about the (K&N type) filters is...... They allow more air flow yes. But with it they lower their filtering ability and let in alot more dirt than stock filters. However I can see how they can be a nice alternative for fitment and cost as well. Better than running nothing at all. Dont even think about putting one of these in your new car or you may be sorry.

the air tubes are available as a repop on ebay....seems like from 30-60 bucks. i know tim mcdowell has them at his site, not sure if the thai ones are any good....i have the k&n filter, it fits well, but is going to require some jetting changes....i am thinking about getting one of the repop rubber tubes to save me the hassle, if i do, i will have my k&n for sale, never used, if you are interested in it!
