Dream carburetor

Post by Eljeef » Fri Aug 13, 2010 1:36 pm

Could somebody tell me where the line coming off of the bottom of the float bowl on the Dream carburetor hooks up to? I can't remember and I can't find a reference to it. Jeff H.

It doesn't connect to anything it's just a drain hose. It goes toward the back of the engine.

My bike was missing the filter and the connecter tube (elephant snout) when I got it. I actually ordered the filter from Retro Bikes today. I take it that the hose coming from the carb connects to one of these holes? On another note I noticed that every diagram in the silver's guide shows three holes yet the reproduction filter has two; one on top and one on bottom. Can you shed some light on this for me? Jeff.

The 2 holes in the air filter connect to hoses that go to the two air outlet nipples on either side of the head.

No hoses from the carb to the air filter, just the elephant snout.
