Stock Honda 305 Dream Jet size

Post by Sascha » Thu May 05, 2011 8:22 am

Anyone know what the stock jet size is on a honda 305 dream and what size it would be if I want to bump up a jet? (fuel jet).

Thanks,
sascha

Main Jet 120
Slow jet 35

The Keyster kits normally come with 130 and 40 I believe, which are probably too rich.

I just installed a Keyster kit on my 65 yesterday and it had a 120 main and a 35 slow jet-I installed the 120 main but I put a 45 slow as I am at 6210 altitude...wrench on...

Sascha,
I have one new unopened Keyster carb kit #KH-1153 if you want.
It has a 135 and a 42 in it.
Let me know.

At that altitude, I would stick with the 35 slow.....and maybe even drop the needle a notch.
The higher you go, the less air you have, therefore the less fuel you need.

Question...

So in 2nd gear, I seem to be low on power as it almost feels like im jumping in and out of gear but I dont think its the gearbox, I think its the fuel not feeding enough into the motor... Thoughts on this guys? Im wondering if you think that relates to my jet size at all.

At any speed or at WOT?
Only 2nd gear?

gas cap vent?
Float levels?
Jets clean?
Choke when warm make a difference?
