CB77 vs CL77 Carb

Post by uadmlj1 » Fri May 27, 2011 9:22 am

Are these structurally the same? Is jet size the only difference? Thanks.

The jet needle is the only different part.

As HONDA issued these carbs all parts are the same except the needle and the jet sizes. ................lm

Lm, what jets sizes did the CLs come with? All of the CL carbs that I have disassembled have had 135 mains, and 42 pilots. Doesn't mean that that's what they came with of course.

I use the 135, 42 and the CB77 needle in the CB or CL carbs as they work well.
The CL77 came with 130, 38 and a longer taper than the CB77.
The needle jets are the same in either carb. ......lm
