305 Tank Jig

Post by hondadreamca77 » Wed Jul 24, 2013 8:51 pm

Idea for ya'll. I built an eye level tank jig after messing with this leaky petcock for millionth time. Simple 2x4 wrapped in carpet at eye level height and 25 deg. up angle off wall. Makes inspection 100 times easier with these clunky and expensive tanks. This petcock is now fixed after two JB weld pinholes, replaced cork inside gasket with rubber one, and double gasket on flange to tank. Somewhere along the way this petcock had been hit and bent in along with bottom of tank. Real effort fixing this one...leaky, messy, etc.
