CA78 Needle Jet Quetion

Post by garncarz » Fri Jul 11, 2014 8:15 am

Does anyone know what was the stock needle jet for a 1967 CA78? The fiche I am using shows both:

16133-259-004 and 16133-259-005

The 004 is the only part number shown in my 1973 (3rd edition) of the parts catalogue.

Not sure what Keihin # that equates to, but my 2 oem (late) carbs came with the Keihin needle # 22401 installed.

Brew;

Not the jet needle, the needle jet. You've got to love 1960's Japenglish. The little brass cylindrical part that pokes up into the barrel of the Keihin PW22. It's part number 7 on the fiche below. They show two part numbers: 16133-259-004 and 16133-259-005. Anyone know the difference and or which is stock?

Either should work. Get whichever you can find.

I found an OEM 005 at a dealer in New Jersey. Should have it next week. More to follow.
