Petcock Replacement

Post by zads » Wed Aug 20, 2014 10:01 pm

Hi Guys,

I just got back to working on my bike recently and I bought a petcock rebuild kit from olypen.com/retro (among several other parts). I cleaned my petcock before and there was some corrosion in the bowl, but I thought it was manageable, but then when I was cleaning the oxidization off I put a hole right through the bowl (see picture). I now look at my petcock and don't think I want to use it because of how corroded it looks.

Where can you buy a good reproduction? I was looking on ebay and found this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-CB77-305c ... 49&vxp=mtr

Or would you try find an original, I do already have the rebuild kit.

Thanks for any help.
