Help! Part needed. Choke lever air sealer.

Post by Dmc89 » Wed Oct 08, 2014 12:35 am

Hello, I am rebuilding my carbs and have no clue what is needed to air seal the space where the choke lever is mounted. In others photos on the web it seems I need a white rubber sealer? The part is not in my model year catalog. And can't find it. Anyone know what I'm looking for?? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Please put your location in your profit and you may find help from people local to you.

It's just a piece of of flat aluminum bent to that profile peened and glued in to place.

Thanks G-man!
Do you know where I can get 2 of these aluminum pieces pre-cut and bent?

I'm afraid you will either have to rob some scrap carb bodies or you will have to find someone who can snip some aluminium and fit it to the carb.

Not a hard piece to make...
