Low end miss and hesitation

Post by Hondaboy » Sun Jun 05, 2016 9:33 pm

305 dream with pw22 carb it has a low end hesitation and plugs are black. I have set floats at 26.5 and have moved the needle to all positions and the best being 2nd from bottom. No miss at higher rpm. 35 low jet and 120 main jet. Carb has been ultrasonic cleaned 2 times. Could the floats still be on the rich side ? I have set the floats level to the main jet with the little jet removed. I found this information on this site. I think I need to be leaner on the float settings. Does anyone have any suggestions ? Bike will idle

Have you removed the jets and wire cleaned/washed and gently blown out the small holes in them? Also- Check your tune work against LM's tuning recipe in the yellow column FAQ section here to the left.

Yes I cleaned them. The carb was in very nice condition and no gas was left in it during storage. I will check the tips section. Thanks
