CB77 Jets for 5000' Elevation

Post by ColoradoCB77 » Mon Sep 18, 2023 12:05 pm

I'm seeing the recommendation for 1966 CB77 main jetting, for 5000' elevation is number 125. What is the recommendation for the slow speed jetting?

What is the best source for obtaining the jets?

Interesting question. I'm not aware of anyone changing the slow jet. This is probably because adjusting the mixture screw should take up any reasonable variability in air pressure. There is no similar adjustment for the medium and high speed circuit; you have to change the high speed jet and adjust the needle.

Thanks for the reply. That certainly does make sense; the reason it's never mentioned!
