Carb swapping?

Post by Hotshoe » Thu Jul 14, 2011 12:57 pm

I'm trying to find a right cylinder, low end miss on my '67 CL77 that I thought was electrical but after checking everything I know how to check on the right side from the coil to the plug, it's still there.
I'm thinking about swapping the carbs (right carb to left cylinder, left carb to right cylinder) to see if the miss follows the carb before digging into them.
I can't think of a reason why they couldn't be swapped like that, any opinions from the brain trust?
Thanks, CW

Should be fine for testing purposes. Choke will not be easy to reach!

Thanks Davo.
Not too concerned about the choke, it starts easy and I can bump it if I have to.
