paper gaskets

Post by abert51 » Thu Mar 01, 2012 3:53 pm

I sometimes dislike O-rings. They killed a space shuttle and they bounce too far when dropped. So I fashioned paper gaskets to go between the head and the spacer for the carbs. I had only 2 proper o-rings so I used them betweem the spacer and the carbs. This seems like a sensible thing. Anyone wish to comment?

Unless cracked or split I use the old "O" rings and never a problem. ............lm
