CL77 Type II fork rebuild

Post by GregMcN » Wed Jun 17, 2020 2:52 pm

A couple of questions related to the rebuild.
Obviously I will replace the seals but just wondered about any other components.
The damper valve appears to be available from David Silvers but they do not seen obviously worn so would be interested in views on whether they should be replaced.

There is also an o-ring just below the flanged piece. I am not sure what it does so difficult to understand how important to replace. CMS list as 38 x 1.7mm but do not stock, the closest I can find is 37.8 x 1.78mm which I am assuming would be OK?

Any thoughts appreciated.
