Coincidental that I was just looking this stuff up yesterday.
Hagon site:

Picture of shocks from that site:

2nd from right looks like it is styled for a CL or CB, and their application list shows their part number 31003 to be used for Honda "CL 305" which sounds right, anyway. They show a part number 31028 to be used for a CB72, but no mention of a CB77. Same shock used on CB72 and CB77?
The shock shown has black on top and bottom, but if you want, it sounds like they would do a custom in chrome.
Group buy time? ;)
(I came back to edit this post to include CB info. Sorry, I tend to get CL-centric, e'en tho I'd love to own a CB, too. The CB shocks look similar, but a little longer than the CLs, by my eye.)

Are you guys referring to these read shocks sold by: ooo-yez? I just received them via eBay, but I haven't thrown them on yet. Are they as bad as everyone is saying they are? And if so, worth being burned the $100 in back and forth shipping to return for the Hagons?

Are you saying they can be squeaky?
