Based on the posts I have found that during a blowout they don’t go flat nearly as quickly as a tube. Supposedly more safe this way? The tires I have a "tubeless" so they can run either way but I wanted to get more thoughts on the subject before I do anything. Tube vs tubeless doesn’t really matter to me. Whichever is more safe.48lesco wrote:How is that better than a tube?
I didnt even think about balance...

I think it has more to do with the shape of the rim itself. Tubless rims have ability to hold the tire in place better upon deflation than tube type rims. Sealant doesn't change the old rim design.hotrodhendrix wrote:Based on the posts I have found that during a blowout they don’t go flat nearly as quickly as a tube. Supposedly more safe this way? Some posts I find the people swear by it but I am having trouble with the benefits... So far what I see is
Tube is easier to install as tubeless is harder to get locked on the rim
Tubes depending on how you go tubeless is cheaper
Adjusting spokes after going tubeless would be a pain
Over all they say it is more safe than tubes which it may be. Yet if tubes were that dangerous no one would ride the millions of bikes with them. Think im just gonna go tube.
