Clutch friction discs-part # clarification

Post by Mike Mullins » Wed Mar 25, 2009 9:57 am

I am at the point of ordering clutch plates for the '67 CB 77 project. I see that the early bikes used a 6/5 disc hub and the later bikes used a 5/4 disc hub. Parts #'s for the steel discs are the same, but the friction discs have different numbers. The parts # listed in one of the previous posts here is 22201-MK2-000. and is still available from Honda ( I checked). The parts fiche on line lists several other parts numbers for friction discs, and they are different for the 5 disc hub. Is this the correct disc ? Would like to be sure before I order them.
TIA
Mike
