Deciphering part number for gear shift drum.

Post by Eljeef » Wed Aug 19, 2009 6:49 am

Hi. My c77 has engine code C77E-101002 and I have two choices for the gear shift drum; C77E-010001 gets part number 24301-259-000 and C77E-A10001 gets part number 24301-268-000. I don't understand what that letter "A" pertains to. I suspect I would need to look for part number 24301-259-000 but I need to be certain because it may be hard to find and it will probably cost more than a few bucks. Would somebody please clear this up for me? Thank you, Jeff H.

Thank you Mr. M. Why is it that part and not the other? They are both from 10001 onward. JH.
