HONDA had at least 6 center hubs over the years and fortunately 1966 HONDA designed the best one and solved the Bad Clutch syndrome.
And Now Ya Know More of the Story.

Thanks, LM. Yes, I did find the post where you talked about the various versions of the hubs/plates and the wires not working. The reason I asked was Bill Silver specifically says to leave them out due to the risk of breaking. Of course his book is about 18 years old now so I could see how that statement might have been based more on the myth than the facts.
