do i have to split the case ???

Post by G-GAURD » Mon Mar 28, 2011 6:16 pm

can i remove this oil seal on the main drive shaft without splitting the case ???

the clutch rod seal also leaks would replacing the inner o-ring prevent the oil from reaching this side of the seal?

that answer to the second question is mainly for reference purposes cause the seal and o-ring are getting replaced

i can't seem to get the photo to upload

Well G...
It's soon to be Thursday. I know what you are hoping, but do you have a result yet?

tail lamp

G...
Hopefully your seal efforts will last. IMO, it's a gamble, but hey...time is saved and it just may hold for a good while. The brake lamp...is this something that just popped up? or are you finishing your rewire job? You're certain it's the brake lamp circuit (this is gonna sound stupid, but...) and not the running lamp based on the three way control knob? I speak from a CL perspective. Good move to recheck your steps with regards to terminations and colors, you'll find it soon enough.

Mike
