clutch rebuild

Post by dlobby12 » Sat Jul 30, 2011 7:22 pm

Rebuilt my clutch on ca 77, changed springs, cleaned all the plates put it all back together adjusted every thing clutch seemed to work perfect,
but it won't go into gear. Shifter shifts but bike just rolls clutch in or clutch out, and now the kick starter wont engage.
Did I forget something.
Thanks Mates

Sounds odd - almost as if the clutch were lifted and not clamping the plates together. I'd drain the oil and take a peek under the clutch cover and see what's happening
