noisy clutch / clutch noisy

Post by G-GAURD » Thu Feb 23, 2012 1:00 pm

i have a 305 scrambler that i let sit a few months but i went to ride it and the clutch felt like it was siezed and wouldnt let me shift. after some broken toe jamming it shifted but went from 1st to 4th (i think ) so i pulled the cover and checked everything and i seemed OK . so reassembled it and now when i pull the clutch lever there's a rattling and it still won't shift.
could the shifting problem be the shifting forks ?

although the clutch is noisy it does disengage and i feel like i'm probably gonna have to pull the motor and split the case.

but still the noisy clutch. any sudgestions would be great
