Has anybody replaced their CA77 cam chain, and if so how do you do it? Do you have to split the cases, or can you use a master link?
If you do use a master link, how do you peane/join the master link so it doesn't come loose?
Any help would be great!

Re: Cam Chain Installation
Ya can remove the top cover.
Center the existing master link to top.
As I remove the link I place brass welding rod on one end of the chain and the link to the new chain on the other end. (assemble the link completely)
Prop engine so the cylinders are vertical and feed the chain into the engine as ya pull the other end.
I reuse the link.
This would be a good time to remove the oil pump and remove some of the sludge. ...........lm
