Mainshaft O ring

Post by malcolmgb » Wed Feb 03, 2016 5:49 pm

Started building my CL72 engine and I realised I am missing the 'O' ring from inside the mainshaft, size stated is 12.8x2.2 = 17.2 OD, I have found an 11.8x2.4 = 17.6 OD, I fitted it and tried the clutch lifter which fits inside snugly. Should I carry on with rebuild or wait and get the genuine Honda part?
