Apologies for the newbie question, but what is supposed to keep the seat from sliding off the back of the bike? I assume I am missing a piece of hardware. The bottom of the seat has a pair of bolts (in the back) that mate up with a pair of open-ended slots on the back end of the frame. I notice that the open-ended slots on the frame have a slight 'lip', as if there is some sort of bracket or other piece of hardware that is supposed to block the seat bolts from traveling rearward. But I've not had any luck finding anything on-line. Any suggestion? It's a bit unnerving to try to ride the bike with the seat sliding off!
Also, the existing (original I assume) seat has a small tear. What's my best bet for getting this fixed? I see aftermarket seat covers on ebay, any suggestions? I'm in the Indianapolis Indiana area if that matters.
Thanks for any help!
