CL77 Tool Kit

Post by Carl » Sun Dec 02, 2007 10:17 pm

I don't remember just what tools were in the '67 Scramblers' tool kit. Does anyone have a list of the originally supplied tools? Also, where can I find a spanner wrench to adjust the shocks?

Loud Mouse,

I just picked up a tool kit which I believe is correct for my 67 Scrambler. What is your opinion?

Check the Dog Bone wrench and see if the big end will remove the valve covers.
Looks to me that this may be a DREAM kit with the extra large wrench.
Please le me know. .............lm

I have not yet received it in the mail, but I could not pass it up since they are so hard to find in any condition. When it comes, I will let you know. Was the size of the dog bone wrench the only difference between the two kits?.........Carl

CL77 Tool kit

Post by JC » Tue Jan 22, 2008 4:57 pm

My first post. I hope I can help.
I'm attaching a picture of the tool kit that came with my '67 scrambler. It appears to match the kit that Bill Silver has in his 300 parts catalogue on page 64 with the exception of the flat blade screwdriver shaft. The small end of the large wrench fits the valve covers and the big end fits the rear axel just as LM says.
