Greetings. I have a 62 CA77 early and the current horn has the bullet wire connections. My bike's harness has the screw-on type connectors. Looks like the horn may be a replacement...maybe a later version? Are there different horns with possibly different part numbers for CA77s?
Hopefully you can see the differences in wiring in the picture. Any help would be appreciated. This is just the first of many questions about this cool little scoot. Thanks!

Thanks for the response!
Were all years bullet connectors? I ask because the connectors & wiring on my bike look original and the mileage is only 112 so I'm thinking (hoping) the wiring hasn't been changed. I understand the bike was a dealer display for years and probably served as a spare parts source...including the horn at some point. Thanks again for your insight! MGH

The ring terminals are correct for early bikes. I think that the original horn would have been black, too.
I have two early harnesses with ring terminals. The pic is from my 1962 C72 (wiring harness says 1961) and the parts book is the early one with "old style" parts numbers.

I hadn't even realised that my '62 had screw terminals until I found that picture. Now I need to find the right horn for my 1960 bikes.... :-(

G-Man/48lesco,
Thanks so much for the insight!
That's exactly what I was looking for! I was told the bike was a dealer display and used as a source for for spare parts...including the original horn at some point. And...unfortunately, the original engine.
Where on the harness is the date of manufacture? MGH
