I had the most trouble with the really long one on the left cover. Think it cost me $20 just for it and was made for some car haha.

Try this place. I've ordered a few things from them in the past. They have just about everything.

I've ordered from this company and they are quick on shipping.
I ordered TIME SERT thread kits which are far superior to Heli-Coil as they have a type of coil which actually has a top area which bottoms out at the top rather than twist on into the hole.
Not cheap per each kit but ya will be impressed how the damaged area is repaired.
Simple to install also.
I have the 6/8/and 12 kits which covers about all I need with the engines. .............lm

JIS Tap

Post by paperslammer » Mon Mar 06, 2017 3:42 pm

I looked at their website, but didn't see any JIS taps. Does anyone know where to get JIS taps? On of the threads on my engine block is all gummed up.

Thanks
