Correct original style tires for my 1965 CA77

Post by jnbmoore » Wed May 01, 2019 9:46 pm

Folks,
I know the correct original size tire was a 3.25x16 for both front and rear. My bike currently has 3.5x16 Firestone Deluxe Champion blackwall tires that are stiff and God only knows how old they are.
I plan on showing this bike so I want to know what the correct width whitewalls are (narrow or wide) that were originally on this model year bike when new. I've seen pictures and literature that seems to suggest the narrow whitewall was the correct size whitewall for that bike. Any experts out there who can rule on this?
