Which Spark Plug Cap?

Post by Erich » Thu Sep 25, 2008 1:27 am

I was wondering which spark plug caps to get for my CA77.

Saw a pair on ebay......looks like NGK P/N LB05F

Here's the NGK pdf...... http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/docs/Resistor_Covers.pdf

Both my dreams could use some fresh caps. I searched and couldn't find any posts on the topic.

Thanks

Erich

BUMP!
Same question. Need new caps for the dream, with stock coil, wires, and non-resistor plugs?
What resistance caps....0, 5, 7.5, 10, or?
Thanks.

Not that this is the definitive answer, but when I ordered caps from Nick at Ohio Cycle a few years ago for my CL77, he sent the LB05F caps, 5K ohms .

I believe 5k ohms are normal standard values that will work fine. I have same on my cb77.

Thanks for the replies...I couldn't read the numbers on my caps and not sure they were correct anyway.

Ended up with NGK LD05F from my local dealer. $2.80 each
NGK site shows the LB05F is for 14mm plugs, and LD05F is for 10 and 12mm.
