I have one on my 1964 Triumph 5TA and they are great no plastic pipe to worry about and no maintenance.
Just thought I would check to see if it was ok for my CB77 as it has no regulator only a solid state rectifer.

That's the one...very happy with mine...recommend you go ahead and get a low-amp tender, a regular 2-amp charger may fry it according to manufacturer...

+1 on the tender and get a digital volt meter. It will tell you exactly what your
system is putting out.
