Electric ignition upgrade

Post by CFL » Thu Jan 10, 2013 11:30 am

Has anyone had experience with the new electric ignition for a 305? Is it worth the money? Is there any real difference? It costs over 3 hundreds. Sincerely CFL

I have installed the PROBE ignitions on several bikes and IMO they are worth the $$$ as they work and don't need to be adjusted later. ........lm

Hi,

I have an ignition from Sachse, check the link here : http://www.elektronik-sachse.de/index_en.htm . The big advantage above most other ignitions is that the timing is determent on the crank instead of the cam. It has also programmed ignition curves (9 different ones), well take a look for yourself,
