1965 - 1967 coils

Post by abert51 » Mon May 12, 2014 1:13 pm

my old cl77 starts fine and idles decently. On the road it seems that a good throttle twist finds the old girl balky, misfiring like. Back off on throttle and both sides start to fire OK. Timing checked and re-checked to proper marks on the rotor. Where's my top end? suggestions. Thank you.

Battery voltage up to snuff? Do you have 12+ volts at the positive coil terminal, with the engine running?
