Just letting you know I have power (12V) at the switch, but none from the coil wire to ground.

The condenser shows continuity from it's wires to ground.

And I greased the connectors, too...

Just an update: after all that work this afternoon, I now have continuity through the points, but its not reading 12V at the wire to the condenser...0.00

I tried setting the timing using that tutorial with the 12V lightbulb, but couldn't get the light to shine. Regapped the points, no light, and still no spark.

Interestingly enough, though, when I had the key set to the first click/Off position and adjusted the plate, I got a small bright spark at the bolt....(??)

BTW, I did get 12V off of the white wire to the rear lights, but nothing on the blue one...I'm done for the day. Thanks for the help, Ed, I know you were busy...
