Okay, have spark at the points and the plugs but still nada.

If there is no fuel in the carb fuel bowls, then I have a blocked carb and need to remove and clean them, right?

Sorry for the newbie questions.

Start at the petcock, pull a hose off and see if gas runs out. Then move down to the carb, pull the float bowl off and see if gas comes through the float valve.
